Cuckney get JAMMY…………..
Cuckney CC is extremely proud to announce a double capture of Mr J.Wilson and Mrs R.Moss.
James "Jammy" Wilson is a 23 year old awful left handed batsman with the ability to remove teeth and testicles with a very aggressive right arm fast pace bowling technique. (The Windmill).
For 5 years now James has been retired and sat on the boundary of the bear pit, funding the club with sufficient purchase of alcoholic beverages. By rights people have said the sports hall was funded by James himself, this is a rumour.
Wilson was schooled at Worksop College where he made his name as a prolific wicket taker. With a height of 6feet and 4inches and the wingspan of a golden eagle, pace and bounce was something given to James by the big man upstairs, however he will be the first to tell you his talents have not yet been tamed. Just ask opening batsman for the Trent College Second team in the season of 2006. With 2 balls Wilson managed to change the gender and teeth shape of the player. (Rumour has it the opener is now making a good living in Bangkok)
Jammy has all the credentials to take a serious number of casualties in the bears 2nd/3rd teams.
Moss on the wicket, lets play cricket!
Richard Moss, 25, aka ‘Mosswoman’ aka ‘big sexy’ aka ‘the lumberjill’ as she has be known for the amount of timber she knocks over, has put pen to paper on a five year contract tying the right arm medium pace taliswoman to the bears until 2015.
Moss started her illustrious career at Sherwood Colliery cricket club of the Bassetlaw league, where she quickly became an imperative member of the 1st team operation. Taken under the wing of Ian ‘The caveman’ Bagshaw ,Moss quickly shone in the first team consistently taking 3 wicket hauls week in week out.
Looking now to make the same kind of impact that she made at Sherwood Colliery, Moss will certainly aim to be a key member of Cuckney cricket club and look to continue the prolific bowling form that devastated batsmen across the Nottinghamshire area and that first brought her to the attention of Cuckney cricket club.
Moss will no doubt be the new heart throb of Cuckney cricket club taking away the previous mantle from Elliott ‘Oonaghs piece’ Hind and have numerous offers throughout the year, some of which she will no doubt have to pass on to lesser squad members such as Will ‘racked jacked stacked’ Ullyott as they will be below standard!
