Against Marshalls the top order for Cuckney led by openers Jogia 79 and Brown 47 performed very capably to build a sound total of 248 for 6, with promising contributions from Butler 43 and Bentley 30.

For Marshalls only two players, Van Den Heuval and Coles made major scores with 47 and 41 as they were bowled out for 157. Stroh with 4 for 44 and Randall with 3 for 40 were again the major wicket takers ably supported by Musgrave with a key spell of 2 for 7 in 4 overs. Another 20 points were due reward for an efficient all round performance.
