Cuckney managed to lose the toss again only having won 1 toss all season were put in to bat on what looked a good pitch after all the rain in the week.

After a good solid start once again thanks to Jogia and Brown Cuckney got to 65 before Brown fell and for the second time this season lost there way after a good start. Falling to 80 for 3 when Stroh and Bentley got together. This was the match winning partnership in my eyes and taking it right to the 3rd last over these two playes both played out of there skins on a slow track , Stroh finishing on 64 no and Bentley on 55. Cuckney finished on 218 for 7 which was a good score in the conditions but we knew Cutthorpe had bowled well and we had to match there performance or even better it, and better it we did!

In reply Nigel Kingham (32) , Rob Plested (35) helped Cutthorpe to 167 for 7 whilst amazingly Steve Randall took another three wickets this time for 37 runs. Raggs has taken three wickets in every league match this season. Adwick and Stroh also bowled well but with little success , the fielding and bowling was good on the day , but the game was competitive all the way through and cuckney came out on top with a winning draw ( 17 points) and Cutthorpe ( 7 points)
